MINT PHASES: the mint will consist of four phases: 1⃣ artist mint - 10 for me to keep, to gift, and to fuel the road ahead 2⃣ frens and family - people who've supported me from the very beginning 3⃣ guaranteed - community members who made art, won pop quizzes, connected with me on Twitter, or submitted the allowlist form (more on that below) 4⃣ public - if any supply remains, these will be up for grabs MINT ALLOCATION: the supply is ~2% for me, ~40% for Phase 2 and ~58% for Phase 3 Phase 2 can mint 2 Phase 3 can mint 1-2 depending on how they were selected for AL the number of mints per wallet for Phase 3 was a personal decision from me across the various entry points: art, songs, TATTOOS, pop quizzes, memes, the form, etc. this allocation allowed me to include more community members and give more people the chance to be a part of this art project. I was so impressed by the reception of the project on Twitter, a majority of the mints (even if spread out further between people) went to this community. GUARANTEED MINTS: the first three phases are guaranteed for any allowlisted wallet. this means that technically, the project could sell out before it gets to the public phase. it's precisely allocated to the collection size; not over or under-allocated. but if wallets don't show up or choose not to mint during any of the phases, there will be items available for public minting. FORM SUBMISSIONS I got over 120,000 submissions to the AL form. obviously all of those aren't human, and I had to create a system of fairness for legitimate humans to interact with the mint. I implemented a multi-layered filtering system across wallet balance, age, activity, and sybil-resistance signals. filters included things like minimum native token balances, wallet age thresholds, transaction counts, recency of on-chain activity, and protocol interaction depth across DeFi and NFT ecosystems. however, these filters are never perfect. I've done my best to be rigorous, fair, and thoughtful here. the form is now closed. ERRORS errors are bound to happen, we're all only human. myself included. if you got a reply or DM from me requesting your wallet addy and the UI doesn't show it as allowlisted, please drop MY reply underneath this Tweet so I can verify the authenticity along with a message asking for a fix. I will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. beware of scammers. I will do my absolute best to ensure all legitimate errors are taken care of. ARTWORKS there are 478 artworks that make up Pattern Retrieval. there are five (5) one-of-ones displayed in the "Radar" aesthetic. these were the most difficult images to train the network on due to their shape and complexity. all other characters are editions of varying sizes throughout families of characters, separated by color. if the math holds up, characters with smaller editions will be rarer than characters with larger editions. FINAL THOUGHTS I am extremely grateful to everyone who has Tweeted, replied, tagged, and supported me throughout this announcement. I wasn't able to get everyone included this time. I know that's frustrating. so many of you showed up day after day and engaged with me and the project. but there are, unfortunately, only 478 pieces; it's a tiny art experiment in the age of massive 10k collections. but this is just the beginning. and whatever art project I embark on next will have scale and inclusivity baked into the heart of it so that everyone can be involved if they wish. thank you all, from the bottom of my heart 🫶
