Perth Hits Its Coldest Morning as Winter Bites Perth woke up to its coldest morning of 2026 so far on Tuesday, with temperatures dropping into the low single digits across the metro area. Some places were close to freezing, including Gingin Airport at 0.3°C and Pearce at 0.5°C. Wind chill made it feel even colder in spots like Dwellingup and the Swan Valley. After a week of heavy rain and wild conditions, forecasters say this is likely just the start of winter’s bite. The day is expected to reach around 16°C, but overnight lows are tipped to stay in single digits for the rest of the week. More rain and a chance of thunderstorms could return over the weekend, so it’s a good time to keep the warm gear handy and plan ahead. #Perth #WinterCold #PerthWeather #WAWeather #ColdMornings #WinterInWA #StormsForecast
