There’s something really cool about alliteration. basically repeating the same sounds at the start of words that makes even simple lines feel alive. When you write poems with alliteration, it’s like you’re adding a little rhythm and music just by choosing your words carefully
Whispers of Woe~
Silent shadows shroud the soul,
Fading flames flicker, failing full,
Grief grips gentle ghosts gone,
Mourning memories mask the mind.
Weeping winds whisper woes,
Lonely light lingers lost,
Tears trickle, time turns tame,
Sorrow’s sting stays steadfast, sure.
Broken bonds beneath the boughs,
Heart’s hollow holds heavy hurt,
Echoes eternal, empty, endless,
Loss lingers, longing, lingering long.
