¡Hacer cine en los 90 era otra cosa! 🤯 Cuando se rodó "Point Break" (1991), las aseguradoras de la película le prohibieron por contrato a Patrick Swayze realizar las escenas de riesgo en el aire. Si el protagonista se lesionaba, la producción de millones de dólares se cancelaba.
Pero a Bodhi no se le imponen reglas. 😉 Swayze, que era paracaidista experto, se escapaba los fines de semana para saltar. Al final, la directora Kathryn Bigelow decidió que era mejor rodarlo a él directamente que usar dobles (Keanu sí que los usó y las escenas de los dos juntos están rodados sobre un gran ventilador). ¡El resultado es una de las mejores escenas de acción real de la historia del cine!
🧠 Bonus Track: Keanu Reeves tampoco sabía surfear antes de la película. Aprendió desde cero durante los meses previos al rodaje con surfistas profesionales en las playas de Malibú. 🏄♂️

Snapper Rocks doing what it does best...
Perfect chest-high rights peeling down the famous point with that clean, glassy face and buttery sections. The wave is absolutely working today—long, fun walls with just enough power to get you stoked without being too heavy.
The lineup is stacked though. Classic Snapper traffic: dozens of paddlers slaloming through, dodging boards, calling for waves, and hunting their own piece of the Gold Coast magic. From the rippers on the takeoffs to the weekend warriors further down the line, everyone’s out chasing that perfect Snapper barrel or cruiser.
“Know before you go” has never been more apropos. Crowded, competitive, high turnover, but when it’s this good… you eat the chaos for those dreamy, endless rights. This is why we love Snapper. Pure pointbreak heaven on the right day. Who’s paddling out?
