Let’s take this win for today
Was able to vibe code a working 3D animated character inventory screen today.
2.5 hours in, items can be equipped and rendered. A bit lost in 3D space still, but working!
Tech stack:
Three.js: React Three Fiber Drei, Expo GL
95%Gemini 3.0 Flash
5% Opus 4.5 for some heavy lifting
Next session lets try to learn how to merge textures and bones so they don’t free float like in the video below.
Anybody got experience? I need to mass produce/bone-merge avatar items for some 50-100 items initially, later a lot more. One Avatar/Male character model, but multiple item sets.
No big movements expected, only the idle animation brow.
