There’s a nice place on the west coast called Portpatrick not far from Stranraer.

We went to Portpatrick & fell for the place.

Good evening everyone. There won't be much in the way of trains this week, as I'm having a short break north of the border, based in the gorgeous little harbour village of Portpatrick. This was taken a short while ago after a hefty rain shower. Have a pleasant evening all 😉👍🏻

Today at Art Group I completed 2 watercolour pictures started on holidays. Under the Palms began last Nov in Florida and I think is heading into a small frame. Portpatrick was pencilled in my sketch book in April. I won’t be accused of rushing things.

Portpatrick #memories 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Visited Portpatrick in Dumfries & Galloway earlier in the month. Many Black Guillemot could be seen at close range in the small harbour. I was not, though, expecting them to be resting on the moored boats!
