With Cup cars on track Saturday and Sunday options are 7ish Sat night or do it Sun morning. By doing it Sunday, allows NASCAR to give teams 3 hrs after final practice to get cars ready & time to tech Sat night (if qualified Saturday, would tech postqualifying)

For anyone who ever questioned the value of getting a degree to #nurse read this. ππΌThen think about these professionals desperate to extend their knowledge #postqualifying but are unsupported to do so. Often cos theyβre overworked & have Β£ hardship too.

Kansas is an impound race this weekend. There won't be tech prior to qualifying Friday. There will be postqualifying/prerace tech on Saturday (just like Richmond). So if fail once, lose your qualifying time and start behind all those who did pass tech. #nascar @NASCARONFOX

There are no additional penalties to the cars that failed postqualifying/prerace tech other than starting at the rear. No practice penalties, no points penalties. (it's a points penalty if fail third time when it is an impound with one combined postqualifying/prerace inspection).

Chilly at moment at Martinsvjlle Speedway. National Weather Service says high in mid-60s. 0% chance rain. Green flag 2:07pm ET. Stages 120-120-260. Postqualifying/prerace tech starts once teams roll cars out of impound as garage opens at 8am.
