✊ This May Day, we #FightForDemocracy — because real democracy means having a voice at work. If you haven’t listened yet, now’s the time to know your rights. 🎙️ Collective Voices: 'Back to Basics' breaks down what every worker should understand — from organising and bargaining to safety, equality, and the right to strike. These rights weren’t given. They were won — and they’re worth defending. 🎧 Start listening: ituc-csi.org/back-to-basics-… #MayDay26 #CollectiveVoices #BackToBasics #WorkersRights #UnionStrong #PowerAtWork

💰 The gap between CEOs, billionaires and workers isn’t just growing — it’s accelerating. #MayDay New analysis by the ITUC and @Oxfam shows: 📈 CEO pay rose 20× faster than workers’ pay in 2025 📉 Workers’ real wages have fallen 12% since 2019 💸 Billionaires earned up to $2,500 per second in dividends ⚠️ This is not just inequality — it’s about power, democracy, and who the economy really works for. ✊ Workers create the wealth. This #MayDay26, it’s time to build a system that works for everyone. 🔗 Learn more: ituc-csi.org/may-day-2026 👉 Read the full ITUC–Oxfam briefing "Working for the Rich: The Growing Divide Between Workers and Fat Cats": ituc-csi.org/working-for-the… #WorkersRights #Inequality #FightForDemocracy #UnionStrong #PowerAtWork

Before the end of the year, I want to share the latest @PowerAtWorkBlog podcast on my project, the traveling exhibit, "Stories of Belonging/Historias de Pertenencia: TPS Workers Struggle to Stay Home in the US." I am grateful to the Burnes Center for Social Change Senior Fellow @MrSethHarris for the opportunity to share the stories of workers with Temporary Protective Status (TPS) with his podcast and subscribers. TPS workers have been living and working in the United States for as long as 30 years, and approximately 600,000 of them today are facing the threat of deportation. During the episode, you will hear the voices and stories told by workers who are union leaders and standing up for their right to stay home with their families. Seth and I examine how race, immigration status, and workers’ rights intersect and how collective action transforms precarity into power. Listen and be inspired. 🙏💯 youtube.com/watch?v=9BnXJAow… #PowerAtWork #StoriesOfBelonging #HistoriasDePertenencia #TPS #ImmigrantWorkers #WorkersRights #LaborMovement #CollectivePower #ImmigrationJustice
