The Power Learn Project team, led by Director of Programs and Strategy Mr Albert Kimani, together with Director of Communications Madam Karen Karimi from the Governor’s Press Unit, engaged with Baraka Chula, the young innovator from Kilifi County whose journey from Kilifi to Nairobi captured national attention. Baraka, his vision of the M-Card platform, turned his personal struggles into an innovation aimed at supporting learners facing educational challenges. His story is a true reflection of resilience, talent, and the potential within Kilifi’s youth. Through the partnership between Power Learn Project and the County Government of Kilifi under the leadership of H.E. Governor Gideon Maitha Mung’aro, Baraka will now be fully sponsored through the PLP AI Safari and Digital Skilling Programme to further develop his innovation and digital skills.
