The National Library and Archives Participates in the Beijing International Book Fair 2026 The National Library and Archives is pleased to announce its participation in the 32nd edition of the Beijing International Book Fair 2026, taking place from 17 to 21 June in Beijing, China. The participation is part of the UAE Pavilion, through Al Bait Al Emarati, which offers a cultural experience reflecting the diversity of the UAE’s cultural and creative landscape. Among them are photographs documenting the first visit of The Founding Father, The Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan after assuming the leadership of Abu Dhabi. Address by HE Counsellor Khalid Al Raisi from the Ministry of Justice During the International Archives Week Events HE Counsellor Khalid Al Raisi explained that the Ministry of Justice’s experience in archiving records and files was the result of close collaboration between the Ministry of Justice and the National Library and Archives. This was achieved through a joint committee established in accordance with the Federal Archives Law of 2008, which enabled the transfer and organisation of records through structured procedures. He added that the project included the archiving of inactive files from courts and various departments.
