This summer, Miami Lighthouse’s Pre-Employment Transition Program students shadowed several real estate professionals at Elandis.🏠💼 The outstanding team at Elandis spared no details in teaching our students about the career choices and goals that led them to become part of the exceptional Elandis real estate team. An unforgettable experience, our students learned all that it takes to be an employee at a successful company like Elandis, from learning about real-estate attorneys, to portfolio management, marketing, property management, property acquisition, accounting, human resources, and more! 💰🔑 The time spent at Elandis was incredibly memorable for our students. They are grateful to the Elandis team and look forward to new job-shadowing opportunities next summer! Together, we prove it's possible to see without sight! 💙@FLBlindServices @AbleTrust @gmlogothetis #MiamiLighthouse #MiamiLighthouseAcademy #PreEmploymentTransitionProgram #MiamiLeaders #Elandis #CommunityLeaders #CareerResearch #SupporttheBlind #DisabilityPrideMonth #CareersinRealEstate

🎬🚌 A group of students from our Pre-Employment Transition Program Summer Camp recently attended an open house event at Miami Media School in Doral, and it was a perfect opportunity for our students to explore their career interest in media. This multimedia field trip included visiting different stations in the school, including a broadcasting studio, the audio creation department, and the podcast studio. At each station the students had the opportunity to hear a brief lecture from the teachers and ask questions to gain insight into their career backgrounds. 🎥 Hands-on activities related to each station, such as a recording session to create a video commercial in the broadcasting station, made this multimedia experience an educational and unforgettable field trip. Thank you, Miami Media School! Together, we prove it's possible to see without sight 💙 @MiamiMediaSch #MiamiLighthouse #PreEmploymentTransitionProgram #MiamiLeaders #CommunityLeaders #CareerResearch #SupporttheBlind #DisabilityPrideMonth #VisualImpairment
