He was previously jailed for twelve months back in 2019, after being found in possession of child sex abuse images, and was also the subject of a ten year Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Camplin confessed to "attempting to arrange/facilitate the commission of a child sex offence, attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and two counts of breaching a sexual harm prevention order."
