Still thinking about yesterday’s QuantVision 2025 in NYC. What a day.
I had the privilege of moderating a powerhouse panel on “Where is AI Going From Here?” with some of the sharpest minds pushing the frontier of AI, quant, and enterprise innovation:
* Dr. Ioana Boier (NVIDIA)
* Petros Zerfos (IBM Research)
* Dr. Ihsan Erman Saracgil (OpenBB)
* Amit Gandhi (Wharton)
* Fred Viole (OVVO Labs)
* Ernie Chan (PredictNow ai)
* Dr. Jim Kyung-Soo Liew (Johns Hopkins)
We covered a lot of ground:
- What comes *after* LLMs, and how GenAI will move beyond chat into core infrastructure and decision-making.
- How quants are reconciling traditional models with AI-first workflows.
- The hard ethical questions: AI vs. talent, and where (or whether) regulation should step in.
- And some rapid-fire “what would you build?” and “what would you study in college today?” questions that got real personal, real fast.
Big thanks to Fordham and Rebellion Research for hosting this timely conversation. Looking forward to continuing these dialogues!
