I've had some concerning experiences with the Premium Plus service that I feel need to be addressed:
Monetization Issues: After subscribing to Premium Plus, I noticed a significant drop in engagement. It felt like my content was being monetized in a way that didn't benefit my visibility or interaction with my followers.
Missing Features: Despite the service's promise, I was never able to write an article through the platform. This is a feature explicitly stated to be included in Premium Plus.
Engagement Discrepancy: Interestingly, when I let my subscription lapse, my follower count and views increased. Upon resubscribing, these metrics plummeted again. I lost over 50 followers and my views have decreased substantially.
I'm not alone in this, as I've seen similar complaints from other users. This leads me to question:
Is there an issue with how the Premium Plus service affects content visibility?
Are there algorithms that inadvertently penalize premium users' content?
I understand that running a platform like X involves complex algorithms and monetization strategies, but:
Transparency and accountability are crucial. If Premium Plus isn't delivering what it promises, it undermines not only the users' trust but also the vision of equality and openness that X promotes.
@elonmusk
, your vision for X is commendable, but it seems there are discrepancies between that vision and the current reality. I urge for a review of how Premium Plus impacts user experience or at least some clarity on these issues.
I won't be renewing my subscription unless changes are made. It's not just about the $30; it's about ensuring that every user, especially those paying for premium services, gets what they're promised without any hidden downsides.
If anyone else has noticed similar issues, please share your experiences. Let's make this platform the best it can be, truly by the people, for the people.
