Basically the group round is like a preseeding to what we’re used to. I don’t really love it, but it’s giving a lot of countries a chance to play in the World Cup that otherwise would have never had a prayer. It’ll lead to more unknowns becoming stars.

The article is more about India preseeding and coordinating all matches and making sure they play the last game in the tournament to know what they need to do than it is about Pakistan. Read it first then comment.

English are bigger sore loser and crybabies compared to even Pakistanis!! Preseeding is the perfect way for balance,because in T20 1-2 off days can impact the whole tournament,so it's better to take past track record of the team as well

Do you think this is olympics? Do you even understand finances? Preseeding was again done to ensure logistics remain simpler. Agree with you on one point though, fixing the draw for India-Pak should be avoided. In fact, Pakistan should not be allowed in ICC, till they get there terror infrastructure and institutionalised religious hatred dismantled. (Osama bin laden was found there; UN designated terrorists consider it safe haven; SL cricketers were attacked in the past with guns and bombs).
