We admire Deborah’s commitment to making higher education accessible to all. As the founder of @projectinclude, she works to improve access to engineering education in low income and immigrant communities in the Greater Toronto Area.
She’s also a @mozilla fellow, and PhD candidate in Computer Science at @UCBerkeley. Her advocacy for AI accountability spans work with AJL and the @AINowInstitute.
Already recognized as an innovator to watch by @Forbes, @MIT Tech Review, and @TIME – we can't wait to see what incredible things she does next! 👏

amused to meet folks today who knew of my diversity work with @projectinclude but thought i was another tracy chou bc i look too young?? must have been the anti-ageing effect of dim lighting hiding my eye bags and wrinkles lol 😵

Wow, Adam, @ProjectInclude is a truly awesome org for me to know about, but I was more looking, for this particular piece, for technical solutions, that can even be small. Examples: nudges built into Drupal or masking metadata during first review of PR in GitHub. Thanks!

Because she stood up for what is right. For over a decade she’s fought to make working at tech companies much better for women. She is an icon and it would be one of the highlights of my life if I ever got a chance to back her.
