During the February break a few of our students participated in Project Understanding. Project Understanding is a program designed to facilitate interfaith dialogue between Roman Catholic students and Jewish students through a shared pilgrimage. This year 24 young men and women traveled throughout Spain, a country whose history is rich with influences from Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. Together they traveled and discussed the teachings and practices of their respective faiths and visited important sites of worship and memory for both our communities. The participants of Project Understanding came home seeking to share with their friends and family all they have learned through their travels and discussions. #Kellenberg #KMHS #interfaith #projectunderstanding
