A lawsuit was announced today alleging LAUSD's numerous incidents of non-compliance with #Prop28 funds. Last year, Arts for LA & Create California, along with 84 community-based orgs, sent a letter to the state superintendent detailing concerns about the misuse of Prop 28 funds.

It’s an open secret in the school systems. Another example of abuse: they’ll fire a current music teacher, only to rehire the same teacher using Prop28 money. Then they’ll use the freed-up money to hire another teacher.
