When I was 19, I worked as a Social Media Manager for
@PndaGaming, which later became PureGG - both eSports organizations that focused on CoD.
I was so in love with the idea of eSports at that time. I ended up moving to Pittsburgh to live in a house with some of the people I worked with. My whole idea was to move there, start streaming, keep working my way up in eSports, and see where it took me.
To my disappointment, things didn't turn out well for the org, I didn't lock in the way I NEEDED to, and I let my complacency ruin the progress I'd made in eSports up to that point. I was young and inexperienced.
Was a massive lesson for me. When I started progressing in my career within Web3, I drew a LOT of parallels to my early days in eSports, but this time around I knew what failure tasted like.
