It’s Race Weekend, and here’s my great uncle Gus Calvelage getting ready to drive his Stutz pushmobile near his home in Haughville. Pushmobile races were a popular attraction at fairs and festivals in the early 1900s. The first pushmobile race was held in Indy in 1911.
OED #WordOfTheDay: pushmobile, n. In North American English: a vehicle that is pushed; (now) esp. a children's cart which is pushed by hand, a soapbox cart.

I bought a brand new 65Falcon. Dumb move. By 67 I called it the pushmobile since it would stall in the middle of Montreal intersections & a friend following me would use his car to get me to the side of the road &/or garage.Maybe 50$ not a deal.
