🔊 Earlier this week in NYC: GMI Cloud’s Yujing Qian joined @yujian_tang on stage at GenAI Zoo for a deep-dive fireside on scaling GPU inference — from performance tuning to real-world deployment challenges. Massive thanks to the @pydatanyc team and our fellow sponsors for making it all happen: @SurrealDB @AkashSystems @Recogni_Inc @BanyanVentures 📸 A few snapshots from the event below. #AIInfrastructure #GPUCloud #InferenceAtScale #GenAI #NYCTech

I hope that 2025 brings you some ups (with the downs) and that you focus on incremental progress, not perfection. Please reach out if your team is looking for Python or data training. I'd love to help them out.

December: Wrapped up the year by launching the *Python 2025 Calendar* and focusing on writing Effective Visualizations. Threw in some skiing and biking for good measure.

What’s the best DataFrame library for your next project? Our CTO, @dharhasp, explored this very question earlier today at his @PyData NYC talk. If you're returning to #PyDataNYC Friday 11/8, come see us on the 5th floor at the #Quansight booth! Talk link: nyc2024.pydata.org/cfp/talk/…

A Gentleman and a Scholar! Today at @pydatanyc was packed with highlights. It kicked off with wonderful hallway interactions followed by an insightful session by @ramikrispin on using GitHub Actions to streamline ML workflows—seriously valuable stuff for anyone managing complex models. Then, I gave my Introduction to Polars tutorial in a room full of data enthusiasts, followed by a book signing. 📖 But the real highlight? An incredible discussion with the creator of @DataPolars , @RitchieVink . Ritchie is one of those rare individuals—brilliant yet down-to-earth and generous with his knowledge. Grateful for these moments that remind me why I love this community. Ready for what tomorrow brings!
