🎯 PAPI – Precision Approach Path Indicator
Your guide to a perfect glide path during landing!
📍 What is PAPI?
PAPI lights help pilots maintain the correct glide path on approach. They are positioned beside the runway and show a combination of white and red lights depending on your height.
🔍 How to Read the Lights:
• 4 White – Too high, reduce descent rate.
• 3 White, 1 Red – Slightly high, adjust down.
• 2 White, 2 Red – On glide path ✅.
• 1 White, 3 Red – Slightly low, increase descent rate.
• 4 Red – Too low, increase descent rate immediately!
✈️ Pro Tip:
PAPI is calibrated for a standard 3° glide slope. Always combine it with your instruments for precision, especially in low visibility.
