KinnPorsche: The Fluff Diaries
- Save the Last Dance for Me -
Having a house full of rambunctious, growing kids often meant that noise was constant and the tranquility of calmness was nonexistent.
As parents of said little demons, Kinn and Porsche often made sacrifices of spending time with one another to divide and conquer different events for their children, tending to the one who got sick and cycled between the siblings, work appointments that required Kinn’s or Porsche’s presence for decisions and generally would be a little too exhausted to do anything other than to fall into each other’s arms to sleep.
Something they promised to do on their wedding night was to always return home to the other, no matter what and tried to work out any disagreements to spend the night together. There were exceptions, far and few in between; however, this weekend was one of those exceptions. Porsche had to go to handle a vendor agreement in Hong Kong and Kinn was left to wrangle their children with the help of the guards, the in-laws and it left Kinn staring at the empty side of the bed.
Marriage left him a clingy, needy mess for Porsche.
His husband, his mate, his omega was the other part of his heart and whenever the younger man wasn’t with him, Kinn felt incomplete. Of course it was dramatization; however, in their line of work, he was fearful that the domestic illusion that he’d lived in for the past 10 years or so would break when reality came smashing through the glass. It petrified him and the rule of having Porsche in his reach was more for his sanity than Porsche’s. He glanced at his cellphone where his husband already said goodnight for the night and stared at the television in front of him.
“What do normal people do? They watch a movie right?” Kinn sat on the bed with the remote in his hand, a remote he had in his hand for the past five minutes and sighed. “I can’t watch a movie without Porsche. He’s always clinging to me when it’s scary or we get in the mood with romance ones or dissect the humor ones.” He tossed his head back to thunk it against the headboard, stared up to the ceiling and rubbed at his chest. “I’m pathetic. I miss him one day and it’s been three days and I’m struggling.”
His ears tuned in to a door opening, sat up in his spot and for a spot behind the headboard where a gun was in a mechanism for emergencies, blinked when a tiny blanket burrito came and he laughed. “Which of my kids is this?”
Removing the blanket from his head, Niran pouted up at his dad, “Daddy. Is Nini.”
“Niran. You were supposed to be asleep an hour ago,” Despite saying this, Kinn waved for the boy to come over and watched Niran climb up on the bed and settle into his side. His arm wrapped itself around Niran’s body to pet through his son’s hair. “What’s wrong?”
“I miss Papa…”
“You really are my mini me, aren’t you?” Kinn chuckled. The clinginess was hereditary. Especially if they shared birthdays and a penchant for Porsche. The elder man continued to pet Niran's hair, saw the boy had something wriggling in his arms and sighed. “Did you bring Cha Yen with you?”
Niran held up the grumpy feline at being held all haphazardly, “Yeah! He miss Papa too!”
Kinn clicked his tongue, took the cat from Niran to place on the bed and watched the feline make circles before settling on Porsche’s pillow. “You need to carry him better, Niran.” He saw the boy pout, leaned over to kiss his son’s forehead and sat back. “Want to watch a movie with me?”
“Lego!”
“...Again?” Kinn’s brow rose.
“Lego.” Niran urged firmly.
Kinn’s other brow rose. “How about Lego…Batman?”
Both stared at one another a moment. Niran nodded. Kinn smiled in relief.
The movie turned on, Kinn momentarily forgot his pining for his husband with the presence of their child. The boy was a carbon copy of him, acted like him and somehow there were bits of Porsche blended in and it made Kinn fall in love all over with his lover for giving him such gifts. He ignored the movie in favor of memorizing Niran and mentally highlighting the same nose as Porsche, the same pouty lips, the eye color and when the boy finally fell asleep, Kinn’s heart was full again. It was like Porsche sent Niran to him unconsciously. “Always taking care of me somehow…”
Waiting until midway to the movie, Kinn turned it off to settle Niran on Porsche’s side, nudged his own pillow under the boy’s head and stayed staring at his son until his eyes fluttered closed.

When Kinn woke up in the morning, it was to someone much larger and fuller than Niran in his arms. He regretted not having a pillow to support his head; however, he blinked at the individual in his embrace.
“Porsche…” He whispered reverently.
His husband was supposed to arrive the following day. Porsche returned a day early!
Kinn shifted to pepper kisses to Porsche’s face in contentment. Call him a simp, a drama llama, a weak man; Porsche was his reason for existing. Why would he not be relieved to see the object of his pining in front of him? The years might pass, they might grow gray hair and gain more wrinkles, but nothing changed his perception of being the luckiest man with Porsche. “You’re home.”
“You’re worse than a labrador…” Porsche murmured but wrapped his arm around Kinn’s waist, puckered his lips for their customary morning kiss and opened his tired eyes to look into Kinn’s. “I’m home.”
“Where’s Niran?”
Porsche chuckled as he buried his face into Kinn’s bare chest, always grateful to his husband’s penchant for sleeping shirtless. It was a treat for him after he worked his ass off to make sure the vendor agreements were in place and not linger a day longer than necessary. His nails dragged down Kinn’s back slowly as he tilted his head back to stare back into those eyes that he fell into and drowned in. “He was in my spot. I carried him and Cha Yen back to his room. Then I checked on the kids and came here.” He nodded his head. “I was too tired to do much else.”
Kinn’s arms came to wrap around Porsche like an octopus, pressed his nose into the dark brown locks of hair and inhaled the familiar shampoo and scent of his mate. His alpha was rolling from happiness at the return of his mate. He supposed that’s why their bond wasn’t just mates but soulmates. His soul ached for Porsche. “I missed you.”
“I know.” Porsche snickered and laughed when Kinn rolled to pin him down onto the bed. His legs on either side of the man’s waist in a casual koala hold but nothing more passionate. A lazy hug that both of them needed.
“You’re wearing my shirt…” Kinn noticed Porsche wearing his shirt and presumably his underwear only since Kinn felt brushes of Porsche’s bare skin against his waist. His hands trailed to caress the thighs gently and hummed in confirmation. “And nothing else?”
“I was too tired to look for my pajamas. I know you always keep your top on the back of the couch to grab on your way out to greet the staff,” Porsche nodded lightly. “So I figured what’s yours is mine, right Kinn?”
Kinn chuckled, “Of course baby.” He pressed more kisses to Porsche’s lips, addicted to them and sat up with Porsche in his lap. Gathered up to his feet, Kinn set Porsche down onto his feet and placed his hands on the other’s hips underneath the blouse to squeeze.
“Kinn?” Porsche was confused as he thought that Kinn wanted some early morning nooky even though he was a bit tired from the time away, the flight and more. Yet he was willing to accommodate.
Kinn, on the other hand, could read that Porsche just wanted to be close and both of their inner souls wanted to dance. He cleared his throat, “Alexa, play Save the Last Dance for me” and when the music drifted into the room, Kinn started to lead them around the bedroom for a makeshift dance. The smile on his lips came when Porsche’s arms wrapped around his neck, the sunshine laughter filled Kinn’s ears and both were enjoying the spontaneous moment. Dancing barefoot, just the two of them, was exactly what they needed. He didn’t want to rush with sex, he didn’t want Porsche to think that’s all he wanted from him especially when Kinn could tell the sleepy eyes and drunk type of smile was Porsche fighting fatigue. A dance lets them be close and intimate without expectations. “Love you. Tell me how it went.”
Porsche kept his arms around Kinn’s neck, fell into the hands that held his hips and hummed, “It was fine. Are you sure you want to be bored with that?”
“I want to carry your load as you carry mine all the time, Porsche.” Kinn nudged their noses together and grinned. “Please?”
The action made Porsche melt as he started to babble and unload on Kinn. Their movement didn’t stop, the sound of their hearts echoed in his ears and his eyes glanced into Kinn’s occasionally to see his husband was attentive and hung on his words. Porsche could tackle and conquer the world but return to the nest that was comfortable, his safe space and it made him hug tighter to Kinn’s neck. His head tucked under Kinn’s chin as he spoke too, “I love you…”
“I’d like to add dance spontaneously to our rules, Porsche.”
Laughing Porsche leaned back to peck kisses along Kinn’s scruffy jawline, chin and pressed a firm kiss to those lips. “I can accommodate that. If you stay shirtless then I can borrow said shirt.”
“Any time, baby. Any time.”
Porsche grinned, “Should I help you shave? Seems you’re trying to grow facial hair and be extra charming while I’m not here.”
Kinn snorted, “Hardly. I just didn’t want to look good for anyone BUT you.”
“Well it didn’t work because I think you look extra good. Plus your charm and consideration is going to cause trouble. We can't have more kids, Kinn."
"You say that like it's a bad thing, Porsche" Kinn smirked. "You know my favorite state of you is barefoot, pregnant and in my clothing."
"Not today but maybe I can be persuaded Khun Kinn," Porsche laughed, dropped his arms to catch one of Kinn’s hands to lace together and dragged his husband to the bathroom.
Where their dance continued, their laughter filled the room and their happiness exploded.
