Meski memegang nomor urut 1 di surat suara dan menjabat Wakil Ketua Dewan Pembina DPP Gerindra, raihan suaranya dikalahkan oleh sesama caleg Gerindra di dapil yang sama. Iwan Bule gagal lolos ke Senayan , ini bukan opini, ini hasil rekapitulasi resmi KPU. November 2024 , delapan bulan setelah Pileg , Iwan Bule dilantik sebagai Komisaris Utama PT Pertamina (Persero). Kursi yang ia isi adalah kursi yang ditinggalkan Simon Aloysius Mantiri, kader Gerindra lainnya, yang naik menjadi Direktur Utama di RUPS yang sama, pada hari yang sama. Satu hari RUPS. Dua kader Gerindra. Satu naik dari Komisaris Utama ke Direktur Utama. Satu masuk mengisi kursi yang ditinggalkan. Iwan Bule adalah purnawirawan Polri bintang tiga dan mantan Ketua Umum PSSI. Nol rekam jejak di industri energi, migas, atau pengawasan korporasi BUMN. Posisi Komisaris Utama Pertamina bukan jabatan seremonial , secara hukum tugasnya mengawasi direksi dan memastikan tata kelola perusahaan yang benar, termasuk mencegah penyimpangan seperti korupsi minyak Rp285 triliun yang sudah terbukti terjadi di periode sebelumnya. Rakyat yang tidak berhasil lolos ke DPR karena kalah suara tidak bisa minta kursi BUMN sebagai gantinya. Tapi kalau lo kader partai yang berkuasa dan gagal di Pileg , apakah Pertamina yang menampung?
