Blazing fast and never misses a note. I've seen 13 of his solos live. Each one different. Each one spectacular. They don't call him The Professor for nothin'. If it weren't enough to be blessed with this talent, he was a world-class poet and lyricist to boot.

Having the death of someone I never met (met Ged and Lerxst couple times) hit me that way was an add feeling and then I realized he literally wrote the sound track to my life. I may not have been a long awaited friend but he was no stranger! #RipNeil

It seems impossible to think about, but Neil Peart died on January 7, 2020. Since then, so many of us have missed him every day. I've always liked this photo, taken by his friend Craig. Neil is smiling, doing what he loved. And we love him & never forget him.
