My boss is a died in the wool Dem and he loves his Tesla. He's not so sure about that Elon Musk character but the Model Y is 👌🏻. Which model depends on your needs and desires. Best bang for buck is Model 3 Standard RWD, hands down. But get whichever car and whichever color makes your heart sing. Ultra Red looks fab when the sun shines but sometimes can look very dull. If you wanna go zoom zoom be sure to get a dual motor car. If you want to blast off to the moon get a Performance variant. Keep charging at home is a real game changer and really increases the value proposition of owning an EV. Not end of the world if you can't get L2 (240V AC) charging at home but Superchargers generally cost more. tesla.redhotkona.com

Finally got a chance to drive the new @Tesla Model 3 Premium RWD today (and in Marine Blue 👌). This car is an absolute steal! Is it slower than other Teslas? Yes. But if you’re coming from a gas-powered vehicle, the instant torque is still there and it will be more than powerful enough. The same thing goes for the audio system with no subwoofer and 9 speakers. Obviously not the same but still great. Plus you get everything else from the Premium lineup - all for just $39,490. If FSD transfer were still a thing, I would order one right now and upgrade from 2019 just for the ride quality alone. The RWD is perfect for my use case - I don’t need the extra range and AWD.

i don't mind fwd, i own a civic. but put it this way, there's so many fwd cars that would be way better if they were rwd, but not one rwd car that would be better if it was fwd

I also got to check out the Model Y RWD. First impression after sitting in the driver’s seat? This is much better than I expected. Still feels premium, and I actually really like the cloth seats and the open center console space- I could see that being really useful. As for the lack of a glass roof? From the driver’s seat it isn’t even noticeable, and I don’t mind it as much as I thought I would. For anyone coming from non-Tesla, this is also a great deal.

#FH6

This can be said of basically any fwd car, imagine if the Integra had been rwd, would be a classic up there with the s-chassis

Tesla Model 3 continues to dominate Edmunds just named the 2026 Tesla Model 3 Long Range RWD the most efficient EV currently in production after rigorous real-world testing The results are insane: • 393 miles achieved (30 miles above its 363-mile EPA estimate) • Efficiency of 21.7 kWh/100 miles (13.2% better than the official rating) • Tested on a realistic mix of city and highway driving A Model 3 architecture just outperformed much more expensive luxury rivals, including the 2026 Audi A6 Sportback e-tron and Mercedes-Benz CLA 350 It’s proof that Tesla’s engineering focus on efficiency, aerodynamics, and battery tech keeps delivering real-world wins.......longer range, lower energy use, and cheaper ownership The Model 3 isn’t just a great EV; it’s also the efficiency champion

If you need space, can’t go wrong with a Model Y. Number 1 selling vehicle in the world 3 years in a row for a reason. If you don’t need the space, a RWD Model 3 would be perfect for you. Thats what I have, and I absolutely love it. FSD is worth every penny. Life-changing technology once you get used to it. I have the Stealth Gray color, look into the new blue options they look really good! Good luck on your purchase, and let us know how it goes. Every other vehicle feels obsolete once you get a Tesla.
