Mr Prakash Chandra, Director, Uttarakhand Department of Social Welfare, recently visited
@KumaonVani Community Radio Station (90.4 MHz, Nainital). During his visit, he participated in the 'Special Public Dialogue' program, engaging in a live discussion with listeners from various districts such as Nainital, Almora, Champawat, and Ranikhet. He responded to their queries, addressing issues raised by the public. In addition, Mr Chandra took proactive steps to resolve the highlighted concerns by issuing detailed directions to the concerned district authorities for appropriate action. 🎙️📻
The program saw enthusiastic participation from the local community, reflecting their keen interest in voicing their issues and contributing to the dialogue. Mr Chandra emphasized the importance of such public dialogue sessions, stating that they would continue in the future to provide a direct platform for citizens to express their problems, ensuring that these are heard and addressed efficiently.
On this occasion, Mr Mohan Singh, Station Manager, Kumaon Vani, Mr Praveen Sharma from TERI, Mr Narayan Mehta, Mr Jitendra Singh, Mr Bahadur Singh, and Mr Tara Singh were also present.
