โœจ A Special Encounter at IMS, NUS! We were thrilled to meet Professor Makoto Katori (Department of Physics, Chuo University, Japan) at the Institute for Mathematical Sciences, National University of Singapore, right after his captivating talk at the workshop "Conformal Field Theories: Randomness & Geometry" (18โ€“29 May 2026)! Prof. Katori presented cutting-edge research on Stochastic Log-gases and Multiple Schrammโ€“Loewner Evolutions, unveiling deep mathematical connections between random matrix theory, Gaussian free fields, and conformal field theory โ€” work at the very frontier of mathematical physics and probability theory. We are proud that Prof. Katori has been a valued author and contributor with World Scientific for over 35 years! His publications with us include: ๐Ÿ“• Book Coherent-Anomaly Method: Mean-field, Fluctuations and Systematics M. Suzuki, X. Hu, M. Katori, A. Lipowski, N. Hatano, K. Minami & Y. Stories like this remind us why we do what we do: to serve the global scientific community โ€” and especially Asian researchers and authors โ€” with dedication and care. We are honoured and deeply inspired. ๐Ÿ“š Explore more of Prof. Katoriโ€™s papers, freely accessible for a limited time at worldscientific.com #WorldScientific #WSPC #ConnectingGreatMinds #AsianPublisher #OpenAccess #NUS #IMS #ConformalFieldTheory #RandomMatricesTheoryAndApplications #RMTA #InternationalJournalOfModernPhysicsB #IJMPB #ModernPhysicsLettersB #MPLB #Fractals #FractalsJournal #InternationalJournalOfMathematicsForIndustry #IJMI #RandomMatrices #DeterminantalPointProcesses #SchrammLoewnerEvolution #MathematicalPhysics #ProbabilityTheory #StochasticProcesses #CriticalPhenomena #PhaseTransitions #ContactProcess #CoherentAnomalyMethod #IsingModel #FractalGeometry #StatisticalPhysics #CondensedMatterPhysics #Pseudospectrum #ToeplitzMatrices #GaussianFreeField #DysonBrownianMotion #ResearchExcellence #MathCommunity #PhysicsCommunity #InterdisciplinaryScience #AsianResearch #OpenScience
