We were delighted to meet 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗫𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗻 (Peking University), editorial board member of Communications in Contemporary Mathematics (CCM), one of World Scientific’s leading Q1 mathematics journals, during the workshop Conformal Field Theories: Randomness and Geometry at the Institute for Mathematical Sciences, National University of Singapore. Prof. Sun’s talk, “𝗟𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗿𝘆,” explored one of the most exciting frontiers in modern mathematical physics — connecting probability, random geometry, and conformal field theory through deep and rapidly evolving mathematical ideas.
