It's funny. When a woman does really well and I hear about it, my immediate reaction is just happiness.
I guess I instantly picture my sister, or my mom.
My mom stayed at home her whole life. But she was brilliant. She had this quiet, heavy wisdom that would absolutely embarrass most people with formal educations.
I never look at a woman succeeding and feel competitive. I just see potential.
She got there on her own. Her choices, her circumstances.
My life is my responsibility.
Someone else's success doesn't shrink mine.
We've spent thousands of years living together, figuring things out side by side. The whole idea of treating human achievement like a gender war just makes zero sense to me.
