For those of you who expect me to have it all together… For those of you who expected me to fall on my face… For those of you who think my house should be spotless, my kids should get baths every day, my eyebrows should always be perfect, my BMI should be “healthy,” my opinions should be quiet, I should work a 9-to-5, my husband and I shouldn’t spend so much time together, and I shouldn’t be proud of how far I’ve come… 💥 Screw. You. 💥 My voice won’t be silenced — not until I’m 6 feet under. My kids will always know the power of using theirs too. They’ll know they don’t have to be perfect. That a messy house is a lived-in house. And yes — maybe I should cook more, maybe I should clean more, maybe I should work out every day… But guess what? My life is mine. And I’ll water my garden however I damn well please — same for my husband.
