Another hugely successful and emotional #RealTruthLegacyProject today. A massive thank you to @LFCFoundation, @GaryRogersArt, @SylLFC and Peter Carney for all their work in making our Hillsborough education project so special. Thanks also to the 12 schools from across the city who came to learn about Hillsborough and showed such care, compassion and interest throughout the day. Our campaign to get this project onto the national curriculum continues to gather pace and momentum. It was a huge privilege to be invited to South Korea by Dr Wonyong Park to speak this week at “Rebuilding futures: Memory, hope and education after disaster”. I was proud to discuss our #RealTruthLegacyProject & #HillsboroughLawNow work and it was an honour to meet with families and survivors of the Sewol Ferry Disaster and The Itaewon Disaster. I look forward to working with them in the future. This has been such a poignant week, with the anniversaries of Hillsborough and Sewol on the 15th and 16th April respectively.
