Youth are driving change in Bucha: What green initiatives are saving Ukraine's war-battered city
❤️🩹The world knows Bucha, Ukraine, as a symbol of tragedy — a place where Russian troops committed mass killings of civilians, destroyed homes, and looted entire neighborhoods. But today, despite all pain and devastation, Bucha stands for recovery and positive change. After the city was liberated, residents came together to rebuild what had been destroyed, take care of their environment, and make the city better: safer, cleaner, greener, and more modern.
Young people have been central to this change — leading eco-initiatives, creating projects, and presenting them nationally and internationally. Through their efforts, Bucha is becoming a model of a city that, after the horrors of war, has chosen a path of sustainable growth and environmental awareness📝
