Yes, ReddiNet has expanded contract outreach now (since 2017 I think) to SNF, LTC and other non-inpatient healthcare. Exactly to improve real-time decisions & EMS/transport coordination. Some counties nationally may have privatized EMS/ambulance systems, so I have to defer there.

Specific to COVID -- many patients are ICU status but post-infectious. Including this info will be helpful to the (potential) receiving hospital. If available in the area, ReddiNet is a great tool/resource to reach a lot of bed control dept's at once. Only call as a last resort.

Just took a look at the ReddiNet data and this is correct. On 12/3/20, the ICU capacity was 600 confirmed COVID patients in beds. 43 were under investigation (PUI). On 1/22/21, 1,570 confirmed COVID patients are in ICU beds with 204 PUI. 🤔
CA issued the Stay At Home order on December 3rd. LA County hospitalizations were at 2,572. Today, when they lifted the order, LAC hospitalizations are 6,697. Soooo yeah their story about "ICU capacity opening back up" that's bullshit. This was political.

Memo to John: There was never data to support it. An actual reporter would have held Gav to the fire about "complex data," b/c the state publishes the data, and ReddiNet/HavABed never showed the ICU devastation, but when it's all about politics the El Segundo Times is all in

Oddly the data on the State portal and the data being reported to the feds, and the data being highlighted in ReddiNet and HaveABed don't tell the story the supervisors are spreading

Narrator: ReddiNet and HaveABed, as well as a lack of requests for Federal Aid suggest this is a lie

Why is no one asking about the: 1. Number of negative tests 2. False positive rates 3. If it is as bad as the Co says, where are the requests for the feds, and 4. Why hasn't anyone asked someone to check ReddiNet / HaveABed, or gone into a hospital to see the "pandemonium"

They don't even bother checking ReddiNet and HaveABed and I know reporters that have access to that

It looks like Reddinet which you would need a hospital or EMS login to access.

Ask someone who has access to ReddiNet to post how many available beds there are in the county on any given day. Hint: it’s close to 30,000.

So: 1. We have plenty and it is increasing (the media know this through ReddiNet) 2. Easily accomplished 3. A disingenuous argument 4. A social control measure So why are we here at this point, when data suggests otherwise? youtu.be/FfXtm1SZh4w
