It's wrong we have to apply to stay in our home.
It's wrong to let people wait this long to know if they get 'permission' to stay where they have lived for years.
It's wrong for @10DowningStreet to pretend all is rosy in the #SettledStatus garden.

It's been six weeks since I applied for permission to stay in the country that's been my home for more than 20 years. No reply yet, still waiting for the verdict. Fun times! @InLimboBrexit

Weβre exhausted from the extended uncertainty and many of us are at the end of our tether.
#SettledStatus is our great worry, it will lead to another Windrush type disaster.
We need a registration without deadline instead.

However, @ukhomeoffice & @10DowningStreet refuse to engage with the consequences of this dangerous scheme in which 1000s will become illegal in their own home.
