In the Epstein emails, we see the agents complain they cannot make heads or tails of all of the materials they've gotten from the Epstein devices
justice.gov/epstein/files/Da…
> "so we asked for the materials to be transferred in a loadable format so we could put them on Relativity, which both we and the agents can access."
> Relativity
So they upload it all to Relativity
What's Relativity?
DOJ, FBI, and DEA all use Relativity for eDiscovery
Meaning Relativity covers a critical part of evidence discovery and formation, litigation support, and internal investigations
RelativityOne Government is FedRAMP-authorized and handles classified/sensitive government data
Relativity is owned by Silver Lake and Alpine. Alpine is a subsidiary of the Carlyle Group (British)
Silver Lake is the largest shareholder in Relativity (March 2021, $3.6B valuation) and has board seats on Relativity
Ken Hao (Chairman) established Silver Lake's Asia offices and led Alibaba and Ant Financial investments. He hasd offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Possible ties to CIC... hard to verify because it's private equity and they cannot be mandated to release all of their affiliates.
If you control the platform that processes all federal law enforcement evidence and investigations, you can't BE investigated, so that makes Silver Lake... immune to federal investigation.
Silver Lake also just took a 15% stake in TikTok US with board representation (Egon Durban on the board of TikTok and Silver Lake), supposedly solving "national security concerns" about Chinese ownership.
So we have:
- TikTok: Chinese app, national security concerns, "solved" by Silver Lake involvement
- Relativity: Critical DOJ/FBI infrastructure, owned by Silver Lake with deep Chinese ties, no national security concerns raised publicly
Massive scrutiny on TikTok's Chinese ties
Zero public discussion of the firm controlling DOJ's evidence platform
Sounds like parallel deflection to me
China has a way into our federal investigation eDiscovery, and a way to fudge the search results and rewrite files while investigative agents complain they have no way of making sense of the overload of files they were tasked to review
All on Bill Barr's watch
HRMMMMMMMMMMMMM
