After months of campaigning, Gov. Hochul has just signed the #ReparationsNY Bill. ✊
This historic bill will create a commission to study the historic and lasting impacts of enslavement on New York state residents of African descent. ⬇️

Today we took a major step establishing the need for NYS community commission on reparations remedies. This was one of the most powerful moments of my life. I cried, I had chills and I was reminded of our incredible strength and power. This is for our Ancestors and Our tomorrow.
