Una NUOVA CARTA DEI RICERCATORI sostituirà la Carta e il Codice dei Ricercatori del 2005, e sosterrà l'offerta di buone condizioni di lavoro e di ambienti di ricerca in organizzazioni interessate. Si tratterà di un documento unico rivolto contemporaneamente ai ricercatori, datori di lavoro, finanziatori e responsabili politici, e con un numero più snello di principi per facilitarne l'attuazione in tutti i settori. La nuova Carta può essere l'occasione per avviare il processo di revisione dell'attuale meccanismo di attuazione della strategia sulle risorse umane per i ricercatori (HRS4R). Il rafforzamento delle competenze dei ricercatori, in particolare quelle trasversali, utilizzando il Quadro europeo delle competenze per i ricercatori (ResearchComp) e anche con il supporto di micro-credenziali, favorirà la mobilità intersettoriale e un reale flusso di talenti tra i settori.
