NIMR Director General, Prof. Said S. Aboud and the Country Director of Center for International Health, Education and Biosecurity Tanzania (CIHEB-TZ), Dr. Abubakar Maghimbi signed an MoU between @NIMRTanzania and @CIHEB_Tanzania today. This marks the commencement of a strategic partnership aimed at collectively undertaking health research to tackle national priorities, through training of health care workers in research development, implementation and dissemination of research findings to the scientific community, key stakeholders and policy makers. We intend to forge joint applications for research grants, piloting of interventions and scaling up of evidence based interventions, all while bolstering the capacity of laboratory and clinic infrastructure.
