Earlier this month, I celebrated #RespectForAllWeek at Norwood Heights.
I was so inspired by the level of kindness our students showed one another.
Our students spoke eloquently about respect, empathy, and compassion—setting an example for us all.
Everyone deserves to feel seen and respected, no matter who they are. Let’s honor and celebrate all identities and create a space where everyone feels valued. 💖

It doesn’t cost anything to be kind! 🫶A simple kind gesture can make someone’s day and go a long way.
Let’s spread good vibes! 😇

During the Week of Respect, MyFace’s Wonder Project teamed up with Impact Artist Marco Santini for an inspiring session at PS/IS 102Q, where students explored the power of inclusivity, positivity and creativity. As part of a hands-on art project, students created notecards showcasing what represents them and what the Wonder Project means to them. Little did they know, these personal creations would be laminated and incorporated into a vibrant mural at the school’s entrance, a lasting tribute to the empathy and positive energy shared all week. A huge thanks to everyone at MyFace who brought this vision to life, especially Bill Villafranco. Tag a school that could use this uplifting experience!

Wrapping up Respect For All Week with our Valentine's Day Dance! ❤️ The dance was a hit, and the students enjoyed every moment! Thank you to our PTA and all the parent volunteers who made the day extra special! @bleekerpride@nycschoolsd25#d25#district25#respectforallweek
Students from both the elementary and middle schools collaborated by painting a banner promoting the important values of acceptance, diversity, and respect for all.
