The Milky Way watches over the ripening grapes at a vineyard. Ripley County, Indiana September 9, 2023 My good friend owned this gorgeous vineyard in Ripley County, Indiana. Occasionally we would go camp there and it is one of my all time favorite places to camp. He has since retired and sold the vineyard, but the memories will always remain. A Little Milky Way with a Side of Aurora So I missed most of the aurora somehow, even though I was out shooting the night sky up in northern Indiana on Sunday night. Normally my phone give me an alert, but missed because I was focused on the Milky Way to the south. Anyway once I figured out the aurora was out, it was already gone, but I stayed up a while longer and caught a little glow about 1 AM.
