𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑼𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆 Check out the latest from the heart of Humanode’s development: 🔺 LP Staking Program Extended The WeHMND/USDC LP staking contract (0xe9547763Baf3C89ba832bb912e6F3472cfC98402) concluded on May 18th, 2024. A new one for the WeHMND/USDC pool was deployed on May 20th at block 7821390. The team has extended the current LP staking program by another 6 months, adding 2,628,000 HMND to the reward pool. Additionally, a new LP staking program for WeHMND/WETH is anticipated. Stay tuned for more details! 🔺 Blockchain Progress Our dev team continues to enhance Humanode's blockchain infrastructure. The version 118 chain release has been deployed to it6 and testnet5. 🔺 E2E Network Testing Last week, we improved the Humanode network codebase by adding additional E2E tests and fixing warnings. We are developing a proprietary testing tool to address the limitations of ZombieNet, particularly in scaling to large node numbers. The goal is to scale up to 5K validators in the near future. 🔺 Robonode Enhancements Robonode is our term for an autonomous virtual machine (VM) operating within a Trusted Execution Environment that securely stores the biometric data of validators. Last week, we completed the integration of the ScanResultBlob pattern on the Robonode side. 🔺 BotBasher and Biomapper Updates Sessions in BotBasher and Biomapper now expire after 6 hours, a change from the previous configuration where sessions did not expire at all. 🔺 BotBasher x Telegram Our dev team has been discussing Telegram integration with BotBasher, seeking expert input and brainstorming approaches. Last week, we began working on Telegram integration schemes. 🔺 Mainnet Website Localization Significant progress has been made in localizing the Humanode website, with localization now shipped. Several locales, in addition to English, are in progress. 🔺 Mainnet Landing Page Updates Updates include the participate tab and the active validator count.

Development Update 7th May – 14th May Check out the latest from the heart of Humanode’s development: 🔺 Facetec & Biomapper Updates Last week, we conducted comprehensive updates across various components of our primary biometric provider, @FaceTecInc. This encompassed enhancements to the server, web, test utilities, robonode, web app, mainnet, Botbasher, and Biomapper. Notably, the Biomapper now enables unstaking tokens and rewards claims without biomapping. 🔺 Blockchain Progress Our dev team continues to push forward with Humanode's blockchain infrastructure. We successfully merging v0.9.42 of Substrate, signaling significant progress. Support of BLS12-381 and BN128 has been merged and included into 118 runtime spec version. Will be available on it6 and testnet5 this week. 🔺 E2E Network Testing In our pursuit of robust network testing capabilities, we've made significant strides in developing a proprietary testing tool. Addressing limitations encountered with ZombieNet, especially in scaling to large node numbers, our new tool enables testing across multiple nodes. We're poised to test the genesis with over 1k validators, with plans to scale up to 5k in the near future. 🔺 Exploration of Confidential Virtual Machine (CVM) Protocols Attestation We're venturing into the realm of Confidential Virtual Machine (CVM) attestation with an experimental example, a chat server. This specialized CVM will conduct attestation to clients, allowing authorized clients to exchange messages if the CVM is verified. This experimental code represents a significant step in our research and development efforts. 🔺 Research on Remote Attestation From Web Browsers In addition to our CVM attestation endeavors, we're exploring support for remote attestation from web browsers. Recent progress includes the addition of a Cross WebTransport driver named xwt a.k.a. xwebtransport, a WebTransport interface for browsers and native that supports closing connections.

Development Update 16th April – 23rd April Check out the latest from Humanode development: 🔺 Blockchain Progress Over the last week, we've been deeply engaged in Substrate updates, merging v0.9.42. As we prepare for the transition to Polkadot SDK v1.0, we're also exploring approaches to maintaining our forks through patchlists. 🔺 Employing ZombieNet for E2E Network Testing ZombieNet continues to serve as a stalwart framework tailored for Substrate-based blockchains. We've utilized ZombieNet to test changes, especially when launching multiple nodes. Through its suite of tools, including a user-friendly CLI tool and support for various assertions, ZombieNet ensures the resilience of Humanode. Last week, we forked ZombieNet and tested a fake robonode to assess network load. Testing the genesis with over 1k validators remains a priority. 🔺 Exploring Remote Attestation from the Web Browser In addition to Confidential Virtual Machine (CVM) attestation efforts, we're delving into web support. Our goal is to create a client library facilitating connection to CVM via the web, enhancing accessibility for developers. 🔺 BotBasher Enhancements Our team has been actively enhancing BotBasher. Notably, a new component—token sustainer—is now in staging. Additionally, we're testing the revocation component during server reboot. 🔺 Preparations for Biometric Update We're gearing up for the regular update of FaceTec, our primary biometric provider. Simultaneously, we're in the process of selecting candidates for additional liveness detection providers to decentralize our biometric architecture. 🔺 Mainnet Website Localization Significant strides have been made in localizing the mainnet website. We've initiated the translation of website content into different languages and have engaged translators to support this initiative.
