Japan Claims Deep Sea Mining Success!
I TOLD YOU SO!!!!! 🔥 For YEARS I've been shouting that deep-sea mining is a game-changer for global critical minerals production—one of the real solutions to our mining challenges. In my book, I said it could be the LOWEST COST and LOWEST environmental impact mining on Earth (by orders of magnitude) with robots leading the way.
For the minerals it can mine, especially cobalt nickel and rare earths, deep sea mining will completley change the landscape.
Thank you Japan (world's first successful rare-earth mud retrieval from 6km deep!), Impossible Metals, and The Metals Company for pushing this future forward. You're making it REAL! 📷📷The tide is turning.

Lot of planing and preparatory work on going in the project right now. Here from a meeting about flying robots (drones) and it technical adaptabilities for specific missions. Keep following our journey! NEXGENSIMS.eu#RoboticsinMining#H2020#Safemining#CarbonNeutral
