New here? Let me introduce myself. I'm Tim, 26, a fanatic runner with a bit of a shoe obsession, and a proud graduate of Human Motion Technology. I run a coaching business where I help runners improve their running through gait analysis, strength programming, and structured coaching that addresses the full picture, not just one piece. During my studies I learned biomechanics, gait analysis, and how to use technology to evaluate movement. I interned at a podotherapy clinic that had access to Run3D, a clinical gait analysis system developed by an Oxford University spin-off. Pretty cool stuff. What shocked me during my internship was the lack of shoe knowledge among the clinicians. They'd analyze someone's gait in detail but have no clue what shoes they were running in or how that affected the pattern. I've also been fitting runners in running specialty retail for 4 years now. And guess what? Most retail staff haven't had proper gait analysis training either. I bridge the gap between clinical knowledge and practical shoe expertise. Beyond my degree, I've consumed an unhealthy amount of podcasts, books, and YouTube videos on everything running. Training load, mechanics, rehab, prehab, strength work, foot health, I want to understand the full picture, not just one piece. Because running problems rarely have one cause. Sometimes it's the shoes. Sometimes it's training load. Sometimes it's running mechanics. Usually it's a combination. My online gait analysis helps runners understand how they move, which shoes actually fit their gait, and gives practical strength and mobility tips. I've done 70 so far, helping runners from the Netherlands to the US. I've also started in-person services this year and I'm excited to keep building that out face to face. If you want to run better, not just run more, stick around. → Ready to dive deep into your running? Book your gait analysis via the link in bio.

New here? Let me introduce myself. I'm Tim, 25, a fanatic runner with a bit of a shoe obsession, and a proud graduate of Human Motion Technology. During my studies I learned biomechanics, gait analysis, and how to use technology to evaluate movement. I interned at a podotherapy clinic that had access to Run3D, a clinical gait analysis system developed by an Oxford University spin-off. Pretty cool stuff. I worked on a project to monitor running gait improvements remotely, so runners wouldn't need to visit the clinic every few weeks. But what shocked me was the lack of shoe knowledge among the clinicians. They'd analyze someone's gait in detail but have no clue what shoes they were running in or how that affected the pattern. I've also been fitting runners in running specialty retail for 3 years now. Sometimes it's running mechanics. Sometimes it's training load. Usually it's a combination. My online gait analysis helps runners understand how they move, which shoes actually fit their gait, and gives practical strength and mobility tips. I've done 35 so far, helping runners from the Netherlands to the US. In 2026, I'm also launching in-person services—treadmill gait analysis and lactate testing. Excited to work with runners face to face. If you want to run better, not just run more, stick around. → Book your gait analysis with the link in bio.

“Why should I trust you with my gait analysis?” Fair question. I recently finished my degree in Human Motion Technology, where video gait analysis was a big part of the curriculum. During my internship I worked with the Run3D system and tested faster, simpler alternatives for gait assessment that could yield similar results. But here’s what I noticed: Clinicians knew nothing about running shoes. And in running retail (where I’ve worked for 3 years), it is the opposite. Employees know shoes, but not gait mechanics. So I decided to combine both worlds. That’s why I started my online gait analysis service — to give runners accurate feedback tailored shoe advice in one place. Because your gait and your shoes both matter for staying injury-free, running comfortably, and performing better. I’ve already helped 20 runners online, and the feedback has been amazing. Want to see how your gait and shoes work together? You can book an online analysis through the link in my bio.

I’ve had a big influx of followers lately and just crossed 900 followers! Seems like a good time to properly introduce myself to you. I’m Tim, 25 years old, an average runner, a shit lifter, and I’ve been studying human motion technology for the last 4 years. I’m currently working on my graduation project and hope to finish by April. During my studies, I’ve learned a lot about gait analysis, how to use technology to evaluate human movement, and about biomechanics. Because I’m so interested in running, I decided to do an internship at a podotherapy clinic that had access to the Run3D system, developed by a spin-off group from Oxford University. I worked on developing a system that could monitor running gait improvements over time without requiring people to come back into the clinic every few weeks. But what shocked me was the lack of knowledge about running shoes among the clinicians. They had no clue what shoes someone was running in or how that affected their gait pattern. I found the same issue in running retail. I’ve been working in running specialty retail for 3 years now and love helping people figure out what shoe to get next. But what shocked me there is that while they know a lot about shoes, most staff haven’t had proper training in gait analysis. Besides the knowledge I gained from my studies, I’ve learned a ton from podcasts, books, and YouTube videos on a wide range of topics surrounding running. I want to blend all that information together to help runners improve their running and increase their enjoyment. A running-related problem can stem from so many directions. Whether it’s about shoes, running mechanics, imbalances, training load, foot health, or day-to-day activity, my goal is to dig deeper and gain a greater understanding of the big picture. That’s why I started writing on X. To spread knowledge about running-related topics and help runners gain a better understanding of the layers that contribute to good running performance. I’m also offering personalized consulting calls where we dive deeper into your current situation, do a basic gait analysis, and discuss which shoes might improve your running. I’m looking to upgrade my timeline with runners and other health-related writers. Introduce yourself below; I’d love to hear from you.
