Switching from treadmill to road? Start with short, easy outdoor runs and mix in treadmill intervals. Shorten your stride, slow your pace, and build distance gradually. Wear proper shoes, practice hills, warm up, and listen to your body. #Running#RunTipsbuff.ly/maX3ILq
Most runners lose fitness when life gets busy.
The secret?
Don’t stop training — adjust it.
While traveling around Zimbabwe I’ll be doing: • Short runs
• Strength work
• Skipping rope
This keeps:
✔ Aerobic capacity active
✔ Leg stiffness and power
✔ Running rhythm
Consistency always wins.

How to Move from a Fixed Mindset to Growth
What is a mindset and why does it matter?
Could your self-beliefs impact your success or failure?
According to Stanford psychologist Carol Dweck, “your beliefs play a pivotal role in what you want and whether you achieve it. Dweck has found that it is your mindset that plays a significant role in determining achievement and success.”
Mindset
Mindset: A set of beliefs that shape how you make sense of the world and yourself. It influences how you think, feel, and behave in any given situation.
According to Dweck, there are two mindsets: fixed and growth.
Fixed mindset: Believe your abilities are fixed traits and therefore can’t be changed. You may also believe that your talent and intelligence alone leads to success, and effort is not required.
Growth mindset: Believe that your talents and abilities can be developed over time through effort and persistence. People with this mindset don’t necessarily believe that everyone can become a genius just because they try. They do, however, believe that everyone can get smarter or more talented if they work at it.
In the rest of the article, you'll see examples of beliefs that fixed mindset people have compared to growth mindset people.
You can also answer a few questions and see whether YOUR mindset leans fixed or growth.
There are tips at the end to help with moving from fixed to growth.

- Acknowledge what factors might be causing the "lower gear" or sluggish feeling
- Use positive self-talk or an affirmation
- Lock in
- Don't give up, keep going
You might be pleasantly surprised how well the run went in the end, even if it didn't feel that great during.
