Since weather kept us inside, we leaned into intentional loading and power transfer. We started with hip, ankle, and shoulder mobility to make sure Elijah was moving freely and in strong positions. From there, we progressed through CNS-focused jumps, teaching new movement patterns and emphasizing stiffness, intent, and clean takeoff mechanics.
We layered in loaded-to-unloaded box jumps, single-leg power work with a knee drive to simulate force transfer, and seated jumps to eliminate momentum and reinforce first-step explosiveness. Everything was done with low reps, full intent, and quality execution.
We finished with banded sprint switches and cable leg drives to reinforce drive mechanics, foot strike, and how power actually transfers into movement.
No conditioning. No wasted reps. Just building power that shows up when it’s time to move fast.
