♥️♣️ BELOTE 2026-03 strategic exercise ♠️♦️
A first French MRTT tanker (MOTUS401) has just taken off from Istres Air Base, participating in this year's third edition of the BELOTE small-scale strategic exercise.
BELOTE likely aims to train crews and practice new tactics for nuclear operations.
This new edition comes just three weeks after the previous one, an unusually short interval, and two weeks after the last POKER large-scall exercice.
With clear skies over France, it should be to be an "enjoyable" exercise for the participants and the lucky spotters.
