Over 700 books were collected and distributed for K-5 students to take home and keep to build their at home libraries! Students loved choosing a few books and couldn't wait to start reading! #scsdreads @SyracuseSchools

So proud of our CHAMPS! 80 completed their Reading Logs this month (22%); ending our year strong!
We partnered with the McDonald's in Nedrow. They gave lunch to CHAMPS that completed their monthly reading logs. Initially, less than 20 (5%) students participated.

G was for Get a Book Day! For the second year in a row, thanks to @FirstBookMarket each 4th grade student was able to pick a book to keep! Loved seeing their faces as they walked around a “bookstore” browsing for their books! #SCSDSuccess #SCSDReads
