For the first time, India has entered the top 100 countries in the annual #SustainableDevelopment Report. This ranking is a sign of progress, but there’s more to be done, especially in SDG 13 Climate Action. While India is making headway in #RenewableEnergy production, it’s crucial to address the #Decarbonisation of sectors like steel and cement production. These industries are major contributors to #CarbonEmissions, and the long-term goal is to drastically reduce these emissions to meet global #Climate targets. Let’s discuss: What are the challenges in decarbonising these industries, and what solutions do you think are necessary for achieving #SDG 13? @UNDP @SustDev #SDGProgress #IndiaClimateAction #Clean #Green #ViksitBharat2047 #ChintanResearchFoundation #CRFIndia
