Shri Suman Bery, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog, presented India’s third Voluntary National Review (VNR) during the HLPF, reaffirming India’s deep commitment to growth through inclusion and inclusion through growth.
During his address, he noted that over the past decade, India has achieved significant progress lifting hundreds of millions out of multidimensional poverty, expanding financial inclusion, improving access to clean water and healthcare, and advancing women-led development. He emphasised that these outcomes are being powered by India’s robust Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), data-driven policies, and effective last-mile delivery mechanisms.
He further highlighted that India’s 2025 VNR reflects the country's focused efforts on localising the
#SDGs and fostering global partnerships. A whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach continues to drive inclusive and sustainable development, ensuring that no one is left behind.
India’s journey towards Agenda 2030 is central to its vision of Viksit Bharat@ 2047, a journey marked by scale, speed, and inclusion, built on shared aspirations and collective resolve.
