📍Rio Grande Metro Area of Texas ⚠️ 3.82% Evangelical Christian ⚠️ 23 churches for 65,920 Population: 65,920 Over 14,000 residents are Mexico-born *One of the most Hispanic populations in the U.S. 📈 This is a young, growing, family-centered population. Over 50% of the population is under the age of 29, with many children and young adults. ✅ Rio Grande needs a Spanish-speaking church planter ✅ who has a heart for reaching young families with the gospel of Jesus Christ! --- We post every week about the 50 least-reached cities in the U.S. Drop a follow so you don’t miss one! --- *Data attribution - “50 Least Reached Metro Areas” by JD Payne (Part 9 of 50)

This includes 699 new church plants — the most we have seen in a single year since 2016 — along with 93 replants, 32 new campuses, and 127 new affiliations. With this growth, Southern Baptists have now planted more than 12,000 new churches since 2010! Each of those new churches is a place where someone who did not know Jesus last year can hear the gospel this Sunday. Through Send Network, we hosted 49 assessment retreats and welcomed 456 new planters to orientation. Our Sending Labs and Residency Builders trained 1,802 leaders from 1,111 churches. “Planters don’t fall out of the sky. They come out of healthy, sending churches that decided to raise them up on purpose.” – @kevezell A family of churches planting churches everywhere for everyone!

A word you seldom hear in college sports today - eligibility. A word you seldom hear in SBC politics today - evangelism. Make it about the mission! @sendnetwork @NAMB_SBC

📈The Boston Metro has 4,941,632 people 📉 but only 169,291 Evangelical Christians. ⚠️ That’s 1 church for every 4662. 📍But God is doing some amazing things in Boston and across New England! ✳️ A new church planter, Jacob Giles, plans to launch in fall 2027. This past Saturday, he baptized 3 brand new Christians! ✳️ 44 students have just arrived in Boston — committing their summer to serve with church planters to engage the city with the gospel! *through our Gensend program ✳️ The Baptist Convention of New England reported the most attendance AND baptisms EVER last year. 🙌 We are thanking God for the many missionaries who are making a dent in the lostness of this great city! Boston is powered by healthcare, business, and higher education, but ⬇️ loneliness, anxiety, burnout, & identity confusion create real spiritual hunger and a massive opportunity for the gospel. God is doing great things in Boston, but the need still remains ⬇️ A city filled with church history — millions still needing the gospel! 🙏 We are praying that God would send many more difference-makers into this harvest — to engage the city with the gospel and make disciples of Jesus! --- 💬 Tag a Boston missionary in the comments! --- We post every week about the 50 least-reached cities in the U.S. Drop a follow so you don’t miss one! --- *Data attribution - “50 Least Reached Metro Areas” by JD Payne (Part 8 of 50)

My favorite thing about the convention is seeing all of my @sendnetwork brothers and sisters. I genuinely love to hug them, pray with them, laugh with them, and be encouraged by them. I love the #sendnetwork and I love the #imb. It’s why I cooperate. #SBC26

We had an incredible time with these @sendnetwork church planters and the Send Vegas strategic team pastors and their wives at the SBC Annual Meeting in Orlando! 🙌 We’re believing God for great things in every church represented around this table—things that only He can do. 🙏

“Even if your church plant is just ten people gathering in a living room right now, you are already part of something much bigger than what you can see on a Sunday morning.” Very insightful article by @Adam_Muhtaseb sendnetwork.com/article/why-…

In a culture that celebrates bigger, faster, and more visible, it’s easy for pastors of normative-size churches to wonder if what they’re doing matters. It does. At our Small Church Pastor’s Luncheon, we were reminded that God’s measure of success isn’t attendance, influence, or platform size. It’s faithfulness. Across North America, thousands of pastors are faithfully shepherding the churches God has entrusted to them. Their work matters. Their churches matter. And through their obedience, God is advancing His mission in communities everywhere. We’re grateful for every pastor who continues to faithfully serve, week after week, year after year.

I got to catch up with these two wonderful and amazing people, Ashley and @tmart_307. Tyler planted Outfitter Church in Bar Nunn Wyoming 7yrs ago and I had the privilege of partnering with them with Mobberly Baptist Church. Tyler and Ashley are @sendnetwork Missionaries and Ashley has been fighting for her life battling cancer over the last year. God is so amazing and gracious. They have a beautiful testimony on how God has given them strength and peace through the hardest of times. Watching Southern Baptists love these two over the last year reminds me why we are "better together!" If you don't know their story look them up. SBCAM2026
